Media Equipment & Services

The library has an array of media devices for your in-library use – computers, printers, and copiers – as well as equipment you can borrow, including digital cameras and recorders. [View the current list of equipment available]

If you need a disc or a flash drive, you may purchase these items at the circulation desk.

Borrowing Equipment

Shoen Library offers a selection of equipment to current Marylhurst students, staff and faculty.

Faculty may request laptops and projectors for instructional use in the classroom.

The following equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis for use outside the library:

CD Player
Digital Camcorder
Digital Camera
Digital Recorder
Extension Cords

Most items may be borrowed for three days upon presentation of a Marylhurst ID card. All equipment must be returned directly to the circulation desk during regular hours. There is a $1.00 per day late fee.

Laptops, headsets, and headphones are also available for in-library use.


There are several computer labs located in Shoen Library.

Laptops are available for use in the library. Students, faculty and staff may checkout a laptop at the circulation desk.

Data Storage for Sale

You may purchase data storage at Shoen Library’s circulation desk.

Additional supplies are available at the campus store.

Printing & Copying

Self-service copiers and printers are available in Shoen Library. Please pay at the circulation desk.

Black & White: Letter Size $.05 per page
Black & White: Legal Size & Larger $.10 per page
Color: Letter Size $.50 per page
Color: Legal Size & Larger $.60 per page

Color prints can be made from the kiosk and drop-in lab computers. Select the color copier from list of available printers in the application you are working with. This printer/copier is located near the main level staircase.

There are three copiers; two on the main level near the circulation desk, and one on the garden level near the periodicals
